Falconi was born on 21st March, 1933 in Giulianova. He started painting when he was sixteen and in 1952 he got his first diploma in accounting. Two years later he got his high school diploma from the art school in Pescara. He worked as a teacher of drawing at the middle school of his town; meanwhile, he tried to reproduce over one thousand works by famous painters, in order to improve his painting technique and learn the secrets of these masters. He presented his works at the major art exhibits in Abruzzo, and in 1961 he inaugurated his first personal exhibition at the gallery "Il Polittico" in Teramo. In 1975 he quit his job to dedicate himself entirely to painting. His technique developed over the years through different pictorial cycles. His works, put on show by the most important Italian galleries in Rome, Bologna, Milan and Turin, aroused the interest of both art critics and the press. Meanwhile, other exhibits of his works were held in Frankfurt, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Paris, New York, Toronto, Hamilton, Tokyo; Falconi also took part in several important exhibitions in Italy and abroad. The monographic publications about the pictorial cycle dedicated to D'Annunzio and the recent cycle "Obsessions" are presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. Falconi is not only a painter, but also a graphic designer: so far, he has worked at the illustrations for the books of his poet-friends: Leonard Cohen, Enzo Fabiani, Giuseppe Rosato, Alberico Sala and Benito Sablone. He lives and works between Montone (Teramo) and Rome. Many critics and writers have commented on his works; among them are R. Bossaglia, H. Campianne, L. Carluccio, E. Crispolti, A. Del Guercio, M. De Micheli, F. De Santi, E. Fabiani, G. Kaisserlian, C. Melloni, D. Morosini, M.C. Ricciardi, M. Rosci, F. Solmi, D. Trombadori, M. Venturoli. His works have been exhibited in Rovigo, Rome, Salerno, Bologna, Amsterdam, Milan, Toronto, Mohawk, Cremona, Bari, Ascoli Piceno, Naples, New York, Paris, Brescia, Pescara, Piacenza, Adria, Padua, Catania, Turin, Seregno, Genoa, Tokyo, Hamilton, Palermo, Urbino, Gardone Riviera, Vasto, Giulianova, Ascoli Piceno, Grottammare, Collegno (Turin), Messina, Berlin, Teramo, Venice, Piombino.
